Broken Vow

Last December I mentioned that Papa and Ging-ging joined a singing contest for fun. They were making a bet on who will win. Who ever losses will pay for dinner at Jollibee (Ging-ging had money because it was Christmas). So off they both went, Ging-ging first then Papa. As soon as they finish singing, they both texted me. I felt like I was just with them. Anyways, after Ging-ging sung, Papa texted me and said that he will lose because she sang "Broken Vow". I wasn't familiar with the song but he was right, at the end of the contest Ging-ging got the first prize.

About a few days ago, I asked her to sing to me the Broken Vow her winning song after her exam. At first it was recorded using a cellphone but not as clear and didn't really capture her voice. She recorded it again and of course Papa (being a stage papa) wanted to hold the digital camera para daw naay angle then ngee nagkurog. There was a table there too so there are some areas that the camera was so close to her. I was laughing so hard because Ging-ging was so mad. Every time she tried to reach the high notes the more Papa gets so close to her. Lagot siya kay she knows her nose is so big daw. She wanted to record it again but she is back to school now and doesn't have any time anymore. If you even watch it closely there is a voice of a girl (my cousin) telling papa to move forward and Ging-ging gave her a dirty look while reaching a high note. Sos makalingaw. There are two versions of this song which I just realized yesterday. One from Josh Groban and Lara Fabian. Some people prefer Josh but I prefer Lara after all she wrote this song and Ging-ging had Lara's version.
