Thanks Grandma
Dad stopped by last Friday to drop off some things and gave me the book that grandma sent me. She bought it from the antique store and I couldn’t thank her (I need to call her) enough. I was so static when I started browsing it because not only it was printed in 1906 but it contains stories that I used to read when I was teaching. It also had long time ago stories of the Philippines that I used to read in compilations from the library before and I couldn’t believe I have my own copy. The title is Stories of Long Ago in the Philippines.
I have a history major in college and I can just sit all day and read anything that talks about the journey, beginning and so on. I adore this book and the giver Grandma and will treasure it for life.
