Pan de Sal With Purple Yam Filling
I planned to make a custard chiffon cake yesterday but I was so lazy to leave the house to get the ingredients because it was so cold so I decided to stay home and make another set of Pan de Sal. This time I didn’t make it so big like before so I can evenly share it to my friends. I read in one of the reviews there that she added purple yam and it tasted like “Julie’s Bakeshop” in the Philippines. Ryan, Frankie and I were at K-mart last Saturday so I decided to stop by the Filipino store. I picked up 2 bottles of purple yam and that is what I used as a filling yesterday. I made as much as the last time but cut it in little sizes. After talking to Grandma yesterday I decided to finally make the rest of them and I was so pleased with the result. It tasted so yummy.
