    My Ryan and my Frankie

    postheadericon It’s Never Too Late

My small family joined my mother in law’s family in Chicago last Christmas. There were so many foods that we feasted and later exchanged our gifts. As I was watching the kids including my son happily opening their gifts, I couldn’t help but thought how lucky they are to receive something for Christmas. Not all kids out there are lucky and blessed enough to get something. I thought of my family back home and most of all I thought of our living heroes and their families and wondered if they also received something for Christmas. Thankfully there is Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry where everyone can make a difference to the families of those who have continued to inspire this country. Before I go any further, I would like you check out this touching video below.

Can you feel the pain that the father felt while thinking of his daughter? The families of our servicemen need our help. They need things that might be nothing to us but means everything to them. Just like the little girl in the video who needs a pair of gloves to keep her hands warm. Currently 1,398,036 contributions were made to Sears Heroes at Home and you can still give. What is even better is your donation is none tax-deductible. It’s not too late, you can still donate today.
