I can’t believe that when we bought our first house it came with a lot of surprises. The first major surprise we had was, the previous owner had 8 cats living with her and with that I developed an allergy. Between the cat hair in the air ducts and on the carpets, as well as the smell, it was just too much for me to handle. We bought the house during winter and we were so surprised when spring/summer came. The smell and the cat hair were horrible. We already bought 3 different vacuum cleaners during the three years that we have lived here and all of them don’t work the way I wanted them to be. In fact it made my allergy worst because it sucked the dirt from the carpet but blows it in the other end.

As a consumer myself, I sometimes go for something popular that is out there. That is why when I saw the video below that compared Miele Callisto and the Kenmore Canister; I was really surprised with the outcome. The Kenmore Canister was ranked at the top of Consumer Reports but its performance was far lower than of Miele Callisto. Miele Callisto sucked the dirt away without blowing it out back to the air. That is definitely what we really need in our house. If I hadn’t known better, I would go for the Kenmore Canister but the side by side performance test done by Go Vacuum definitely gave justice to Miele Callisto.
