Boredom Remedy
When Ryan and I moved to our new house, we agreed that we are not going to get cable. We both know how expensive it can be and besides we work all the time so we thought we won’t be able to enjoy it anyway. We don’t want to be one of those who almost have a heart attack at the sight of their cable bill. To be honest with you, it can be boring flipping through very limited channels but hey we stick to what we have agreed for 4 years until recently. You see, my Dad joined us here from the Philippines last December. Ryan and I both know that he needs something to keep him occupied besides our son Frankie. He enjoys watching Ryan’s DVD collection but he has seen almost all of them. That is why I suggested to Ryan that it might be time to get a Dish Network.
Why Dish Network and not cable? Well, I found a place where we can get it starting at $9.99 a month. What is even better is if we apply now, we can enjoy any of their bonus gifts such as the Apple iPod, home theater system, digital camera and digital picture frame. With their free HD programming for 6 months as well as free HD DVR, who still wants cable and their expensive monthly dues? Dish Network offers all digital channels and high definition programming, so why go back?
