Dance Frankie Dance
I mentioned in my other blog that we got ourselves a dance dance revolution. I don’t know what has gotten to Ryan when we were in the mall in Bradley that he thought of getting one. In the store we were in it, they don’t have the mat/pad and the game is separate. He got me really excited that after church I wanted to go to Target to check what they have. This is an old game which my students used to play before. Probably 9 to 10 years ago, yep that old. Anyways, we went to Target and we found one. It looks expensive in the tag but when we paid for it it was only o$20.00 plus. I don’t know if it was on sale but at any rate I was glad. We are not willing to pay much for just a game.
When we got home, we didn’t try it right away. Ryan was so excited to update his blog so we put it off until last Monday. I wanted to make sure that it works because I have read some reviews that there is some buttons that won’t work and I wanted to try and return it right away if that was the case. Ryan tried it first and we were all laughing. I kept telling him to wiggle his body and move to the beat rather than waiting for the arrows to come up. Frankie on the other hand was so fascinated watching his Dada. We take turns holding him because he tries to hit the exit button on the mat. There were a lot of dance music too that some where from the 80′s and 90′s. Ryan was sweating like he was running on the treadmill. I tried it for a couple of times but it didn’t work because Frankie wanted it for himself. I let him be and when he is done I try getting on the mat he gets mad and cry. Ryan said we may have to do it in our room if we want to exercise. At any rate, he had so much fun and it was so much fun watching him. He dances while clapping his hands. I tried taking a video of him but when he saw me holding it he stopped. Here are some shots that I took of him.
