Mama’s Day
Today was indeed a lovely day. I slept late last night because I didn’t get home late and they all let me sleep in. Yep, I didn’t get up until 11:00 a.m. I don’t even think I will ever get up not until Ryan bugged me to go bowling for Mother’s Day. I wasn’t really up to bowling because I was a little tired. I just want to lay on bed and be served hehehe. After so much bugging to get up to go somewhere I finally accepted Ryan’s invitation to watch a movie (Star Trek). I was apprehensive to go because I thought it would be another lame movie but I was wrong. There were some dragging parts but I really liked and enjoyed it. We strolled around the mall for a little bit and decided to go shopping afterwards. We also ate at my favorite Filipino restaurant. As always the food was yummy and had some take out for Frankie and Papa.
I told Ryan that we don’t need to do something special for Mother’s day since we have been saving for the big event but he still made me feel special. It was very simple yet very nice. I can’t wait for father’s day so that I can also do something special for him. On the other hand our Mama back home also celebrated her special day with the rest of the family. We all chipped in to buy her lechon manok, ice cream, squid and more and had lunch together. Then they all went together to visit our Nanay in the cemetery. I just talked to her a few minutes ago and I am glad she is doing well. Happy Mother’s Day to My Mama, Nanay, Noelle, my sister in laws and my friends.
