So Long Pacifier
It has been a week that Frankie stopped using his pacifier and it wasn’t because of me, it was because of his Dada. I am not good when it comes to training him because when he starts crying and looking for it at 3:00 a.m., I will just give it to him for him to stop and I can get some sleep. Last week, I have been working straight and it is always Ryan who now puts him to bed. We only have 2 pacifiers left in the house. The other ones I don’t know where they are. Among the two they kept disappearing. So when Ryan put Frankie to sleep they couldn’t find the pacifier at all. He didn’t cry and eventually he fell asleep. The next night, he looked for it again and couldn’t find it. By the third night Frankie wasn’t even looking for it. As long as he is hugging George, he is all happy.
I on the other hand is very happy because I don’t have to worry about his teeth and also he forgot about it painlessly. Now my biggest challenge is potty training. I hope I will have some time in the future. He wears his diaper but the moment he goes potty, he takes it off and pees on the floor. We have to chase him to put it back on and once it is on and when he is getting ready to pee he would take it off again. Papa and I tried to put his potty seat in the living room and explained it to him and he smiled but when he peed he went right next to the potty. He likes sitting on it occasionally but that is about it. He doesn’t seem to understand yet but we will get there. I am not rushing it though. I have already asked Ryan to buy him pull ups because the summer is the perfect time to train him since they dress less. Hopefully the next time I post is telling you that he is potty trained but for now he is being punished by wiping his own pee on the floor after he does it. Mind you, he uses his foot to wipe it off not his hand just like mama. Which is good because I don’t want him to be messing with this pee.
