YouTube Rocks

Almost everyone who actively uses the internet knows what YouTube is. When I feel bored, I make it a point to watch old clips and videos that were uploaded by other YouTube users. It is like a network of people who likes to share what they have through YouTube. In fact, my sister started singing and uploading her recordings through YouTube too. It makes me and my Papa happy and proud because we can get to see her just like when she is singing in front of us.

Recently, I noticed that a lot of companies are taking advantage of the popularity of YouTube by recording their own ads or promotions and uploading it through them. I don’t blame them though because with the number of people surfing YouTube everyday and with just the right keyword(s), their video will most likely to pop up. It is like searching for a product in a search engine and although only text will come up with them at YouTube it is the video that will show up and if I am a consumer and wants to learn more about what I am looking for, it will be more convincing to see a video about it more than anything else. One good example of what I am talking about is the VistaPrint Video. Who would have thought that a simple tote bag would have this kind of strength if it wasn’t because of this video? I better get a free tote bag and test it on my own. I have nothing else to say but, YouTube is my favorite website.

Getting Him To Work

I was in Super K in Tinley Park doing a project when I saw this little wheel barrow and I didn't even think twice, I wanted to get it for Frankie. After I did the project I went to get my purse in my car and went back to get it. He didn't know what it was in the beginning. He ended taking it inside the house and use it as a step stool to get something from the entertainment center.

The next day, Papa took it out and thought of making it and him useful. He was cutting the grass in some parts that he can't get with the lawn mower and he asked Frankie to transport the cut grass by the big bin. He looked so cute dragging it all over the place.

Well for the most part he was very helpful but in the end, he was starting to put the grass inside the garage which Papa and him ended up cleaning up at the end but at any rate he was very helpful.

Ride The Manta

One of the things that I always look forward to when we go in a fair is the rides. Yep I am not afraid to get into them and experience being up there. I haven’t thrown up though and that is a good thing. Ferris wheel, roller coaster, you name it and I have been to each except of course the flying ray Manta, an awesome ride that will open this May in SeaWorld Orlando. Before I say any further, just watch the video of Ted below on board the flying ray Manta. I have to say his laughter is very contagious and I can truly tell that he had a wonderful experience.

Unfortunately we have no plans of visiting Florida this summer because we have been to Florida last year but if you are planning to enjoy summer there, then this is your chance to get yourself a “Front-of-the-line" pass to Manta at SeaWorld Orlando. All you have to do is learn a little about the flying ray Manta and answer the Manta quiz by logging into to your RideTheFlyingRay.com account. Just need to correctly answer 5 Manta questions and you will receive an email upon your successful completion. Complete 6 of the activities in their website (by clicking on the link above) and when correctly done you will see yourself on board the flying Manta in no time. It is worth the try.

So Long Pacifier

Watering the plants outside or should I say watering the ground.

It has been a week that Frankie stopped using his pacifier and it wasn't because of me, it was because of his Dada. I am not good when it comes to training him because when he starts crying and looking for it at 3:00 a.m., I will just give it to him for him to stop and I can get some sleep. Last week, I have been working straight and it is always Ryan who now puts him to bed. We only have 2 pacifiers left in the house. The other ones I don't know where they are. Among the two they kept disappearing. So when Ryan put Frankie to sleep they couldn't find the pacifier at all. He didn't cry and eventually he fell asleep. The next night, he looked for it again and couldn't find it. By the third night Frankie wasn't even looking for it. As long as he is hugging George, he is all happy.

I on the other hand is very happy because I don't have to worry about his teeth and also he forgot about it painlessly. Now my biggest challenge is potty training. I hope I will have some time in the future. He wears his diaper but the moment he goes potty, he takes it off and pees on the floor. We have to chase him to put it back on and once it is on and when he is getting ready to pee he would take it off again. Papa and I tried to put his potty seat in the living room and explained it to him and he smiled but when he peed he went right next to the potty. He likes sitting on it occasionally but that is about it. He doesn't seem to understand yet but we will get there. I am not rushing it though. I have already asked Ryan to buy him pull ups because the summer is the perfect time to train him since they dress less. Hopefully the next time I post is telling you that he is potty trained but for now he is being punished by wiping his own pee on the floor after he does it. Mind you, he uses his foot to wipe it off not his hand just like mama. Which is good because I don't want him to be messing with this pee.

Help Relax With A Singing Bowl

I like surfing the internet. Every once in a while I come across something unique and interesting that is so hard to pass up like this Singing Bowl that I found at Silverskyimports.com. I never knew that bowls can emit sound and music so beautifully like that to help you relax. It can also be use for meditation just like the Mystic old a Chakra Tibetan Singing Bowl that is pictured below.

With the current situation we are in, we all need to take time to relax and for a moment and leave the world behind. Take it easy, that is what my parents always tell me when things get rough in school and when I was working. Take a deep breath and you will notice that you will start to feel better. Life has become harder and harder than ever. The struggle to survive has become tougher that we all need to sit back, put ourselves together and relax and the Singing bowl will be a wonderful instrument to achieve that.

When you visit Silverskyimports.com today, you will be surprised to see unique and interesting products that they carry that are beautifully made from Tibet and Nepal. They have different kinds of singing bowls, Tibetan chimes, player flags, crystal singing bowls and a lot more. You can even buy a gift certificate to a friend whom you think would love to own one of these unique products from Silverskyimports.com.

Puffy Bags

Since I started working nights about 9 months ago, I have been having puffy bags underneath my eyes. It was a very rough first 4 months though because every time I come home between 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. and I tried to get some sleep right away which was only 3-4 hours. I later had to get up because Frankie is already up and I had to take care of him. I don’t even know how I managed to do all of that without quitting. Most of the mommies in my group have already quit and I am the last surviving one. My motivation has always been to help my husband out that is why I was able to survive all those months. Thankfully all of that changed when Papa got here but my puffy bags underneath my eyes hasn’t changed at all. It is still there and I surely don’t want them underneath my eyes when I walk down the aisle on our second wedding in the Philippines.

That is the reason why I have been actively looking for a place that has the best eye cream reviews. This will be my first time and I am not that familiar with which one works the best that is out in the market today. Thankfully I came across www.eyecreamreview.net. What I like so much about the site is the eye creams are ranked from the highest score to the lowest to help you decide which one to go for. Plus there won’t be any shopping around and trying one product to another and wasting your money in the long run. I am glad I came across their site because I really need something around my eyes especially soon that I don’t have to work nights as much anymore. Thank God!

High End Furniture At Your Fingertips

Jenny and Sheila know that my Dad used to do constructions when he was in the Philippines. When he got here, he finished the project that Ryan and Dad started so they were so anxious to ask his help to do some updates around their house. Jenny wants to put new moldings in her bathroom and paint it as well while Sheila also wants to rip off the old molding that they have up in their living room and replace it with new ones. It will be a fun-filled summer for my Dad since he will be helping both girls to get things done.

Jenny has been going to the local hardware store to find contemporary bathroom lights that will fit to her bathroom but she didn’t like what they have. I suggested to her that if she wants something contemporary then she might as well check out www.elte.com online. What I like about the site is their beautiful selections of home furnishings with a lot to choose from. This aria single sconce on the right would look nice in her bathroom. Also, people that are living in Toronto Canada now have access to hardware Toronto where they can find high end furniture and house furnishing needs. Don't forget to check them out.

To Mt. Baldy We Went

It was a beautiful Friday when we left around noon to go and celebrate Ryan's birthday at Mt. Baldy in Michigan City Indiana. We had the food all ready when Ryan got home from work. It was so hot the day before and I was a little worried that it might be too hot for Frankie and thankfully it was just perfect. In fact it was a little chilly by the lake but Frankie loved it anyway. Before we head east, we stopped by Kohl's to get him his toys to use. When we got there, it was around 3:30 p.m. already and there wasn't a lot of people. Ryan didn't want to eat by the lake. He wanted to eat by the parking area because there was a table there but I insisted. I told him that we can sit on the sand and eat there. He had never experienced that before so I don't blame him when he was a little apprehensive.

It has been a while since I last visited Mt. Baldy and it has changed a lot. The path where Ryan and I used to climb to get to the peak is now closed. They also had the way to the parking lot now fenced up so that people can no longer climb up from the parking lot. We have to take a different route to get to the lake. It was a little walk but Frankie was great. We were all bringing the stuff for lunch. When we got to the spot, we went ahead and started eating. Ryan was sitting on the sand and I started handing them the plates and the spoon and forks. Frankie didn't really care so much to eat as he started playing right away but later Ryan had to give him something.

After we ate, Ryan said that he really had fun. I mean it was his first time to eat like that and he thought it was that bad. He however had a hard time getting up. Papa on the other hand was sitting on the folding chair that he brought. We were there for almost 3 hours just talking and taking turns in playing with Frankie. Before we left, Ryan called Dad and Noelle and told them that we will be stopping to see them since we are around the area anyway. We have always been like that every time we are in Indiana we always stop by to see them and most of the time have a nice dinner in the backyard. That was where we were heading after coming back from the lake but that will be in another post.

A Great Discovery Indeed

I have always been optimistic when it comes to finding a way to help save a life. As long as it is not hurting anyone in the process then I give out all my support. As I get older, I also noticed that people who died of stroke, diabetes and other dreaded diseases are getting younger and younger. It is very scary actually. What can we possibly do to prevent it from happening to us and to our loved ones?

When I was reading the C'elle Blog a while ago, I was overwhelmed with so much hope. Who would even think that a woman’s monthly cycle can be the key? The menstrual fluid found in a woman’s monthly cycle contains adult stem cells that can multiply rapidly and can be a significant source of regeneration and repair that could be of benefit to you and your family. All you have to do is collect it with the use of C'elle ’s easy to use collection kit. You can now collect and preserve your menstrual blood for future use. We will just hope that we don’t have to use it ever but in case if we have to, at least we already have it ready.

Happy 31st Birthday Dada

Ryan came up to me a few days ago tell me to cooperate from his request. It is his birthday today and he didn't want me to get him something as a gift even a card. He have always been like that from the time we got married but the previous years I have always disobeyed him. I always find something that he likes to have but is not necessary and I would get it anyway. Well recently he insisted and begged me not to get anything. So instead, Papa, Frankie and I are going to have the food ready for our picnic in Mt. Baldy. Papa is going to roast some chicken and I already made the spring rolls. The chips and the dips are also ready as well as the drinks and the ice. I also picked up a bunch of Manila mangoes that looked so yummy. I forgot to get Frankie the tools for digging but Ryan promised that we can stop to get him those on our way to Indiana. I am glad that his supervisor let him go even for just a half day because he is really busy at work and working a lot of OT. I was afraid that it is not going to happen since the three of us have been preparing for it.

I try to throw in baby pictures of him every time it is his birthday and here are a couple of him. The picture was taken during his first birthday. Below is a few months old. Anyways, I am so excited tomorrow. I think I will actually climb up Mt. Blady this time. I would like to see how Frankie would be. I am sure he will like it especially the water. I promise to take a lot of pictures.

I don't need to enumerate how lucky I am to be married with this man. Lucky in every sense of the word. To our Dada happy 31st birthday and a hundred more to come. We love you.

Are You Ready For A Wildwood Vacation?

In a couple of months, the kids will be out of school. I am sure they are all very excited. Who isn’t anyway? After a long 10 months, it is finally time for fun. On the other hand, parents will also be planning for something fun for them to do. If you are one of those who are in-charge of the summer get-away this year, there is only one suggestion that I can tell you. Why don’t you take the entire family on a Wildwood vacations? If you haven’t been to Wildwood, New Jersey, this is your chance to explore the place and experience what a Jersey Shore beach Vacation is all about.

Plus if you decide to go starting at the end of June till at the end of August, you and your family will enjoy the Radio Disney Summer Concert Series that will be held in Wildwood, New Jersey at Morey’s Piers. You don’t have to worry about anything because the concert is free for the entire family. There is also going to be a lot of top radio Disney artists there. It is definitely worth the trip. However, if you don’t know anyone around New Jersey, no problem because there are Wildwood New Jersey motels that you can choose from by visiting Moreyspiers.com that is conveniently located close/around Morey’s Piers. There is no doubt that Morey’s Piers is the great place for a New Jersey Vacation.

Beautiful Bridesmaid Dresses

I have never experienced picking up bridesmaid dresses. I am sure it could have been a very exciting feeling going out with the girls and trying to decide which one would be perfect for your wedding. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will ever experience that since my sisters and my sister in law are the ones that I assigned to pick up the bridesmaid dresses for my wedding. It is just too hard since when we get there, we only have a few days left before the wedding. I wanted everything reserved and picked before anything else. I kind of wish we have the service of Bestbridalprices.com in the Philippines. I checked out the different bridesmaid dresses they have and they are definitely stunning. Plus some selected dresses are on sale and some free shipping with in the United States. You should hurry and check their gorgeous selection out.

My Watch

I can’t go anywhere without my watch. I feel so empty or naked when I don’t have it with me. That is why every time I lose or break one, Ryan always get me something as a replacement. It doesn’t have to be something really expensive but as long as it gives me the correct time, then I am happy, although buying something really cheap has its disadvantage. The watch I gave Ryan last Christmas broke (the link fell off) even before its 3rd month. Thankfully I was still able to return it but I was indeed very embarrassed. It is very seldom that my husband asks me for something and then I disappoint him.

Almost every person in America wears a watch. So don’t you think selling men's watches and women’s watches will be a good idea? Why not? Quemexnyc.com can put you right on track because they are wholesale suppliers of men’s and women’s watches of different brands, clocks, watch batteries, and watch repair tools. They also have fashion watches that will be a perfect gift for any occasion. So if you are thinking of a new business to venture, you might want to check out Quemexnyc.com. Remember, everyone can use a new watch.

Almost Two In A Row

I thought I will be in deep trouble when the phone that Ryan just got me to replace my other ones was wet with water. I charged the phone before Ryan and I left for church and to go shopping. Papa and Frankie were in the backyard since Papa will be going to church the next day. When we got home, I went to check my phone but it was off. As I remember I didn't turn it off. When I lift it up and unplugged it, there was water underneath it. I didn't know where the water came from but all I know was the phone is completely dead.

I was so scared because I didn't know how to tell Ryan about the wonderful news. He just got me this phone (on the left) and added a year worth of minutes in it. This is my second time because the phone that I had before is now useless also right after putting the 1 year worth of minutes in it. To think I told him during our anniversary when we were in Wisconsin Dells. Frankie was so nice and wiped my cellphone with one of his wipes. I even told him he was such a good boy for cleaning mama's phone. The next thing I know, the phone had a big black spot on the screen. I guess the wetness from the wipes short circuited something inside. I can still get calls and make calls with that phone but I have no way of knowing who is calling me or how many more minutes I have left. Ryan was a little mad but he went out and got me another one anyway. So I have two in my purse, the old one and the new one. So, I was terrified when I realized that the other phone is completely dead. Papa told me to let it air out but I kept putting it back. He told me if I kept insisting it might still be wet inside and short circuit it and lose it completely. The last option I had was call tracfone and had them transfer the minutes to another phone which I don't know if it even works that way. I have been trying to hide the phone from Ryan (for two days) because I was so afraid that he will find out that I wasted another $150.00 for the phone and the minutes for the second time. I didn't even know when to tell him. I thought of myself, I should spill the beans when he is excited about something so that he won't be that mad.

Last night, I tried to put everything again and it was the same, it was dead. No matter what I do it was completely dead. I was so worried. I gathered all necessary numbers I need to call to ask if I can transfer my minutes into a different phone. I tried the sim card in Papa's phone but it was rejected. When I tried it back in my phone, it turned on and said that the sim card is put wrong. I got excited. I fixed the sim card and it was such a relief when I saw my phone up and running again. When Ryan got home earlier I told him right away about the phone. I would never charge it in the kitchen again. Ryan said, he was going to get mad at me if I didn't have it work. Thankfully I did or it would have been two in a row.

Let's Talk About Weddings

The month of June is fast approaching and I know there are a lot of ladies who would like to be a June bride. I love weddings and being there to witness the union of two people who love each other. Weddings are not easy to put together. I have been there and done that plus another wedding coming up in front of my family in the Philippines. There are a lot of things to consider not only the wedding dress, the bridesmaid’s dresses but the church, the reception and let’s not forget the venue of the honeymoon. Since this is our second wedding and already has a son, the honeymoon is the last thing in our mind.

What I have really in mind is looking at my best on my wedding day. It is the most special event in my life. Although I am still trying to decide weather I will have my old wedding dress tailored to fit me, I may have to rent or get another one. I saw one website though that has a beautiful selection of wedding dresses from different designers. They surely have the best bridal prices on wedding dresses, bridesmaid’s dresses and even accessories. The wedding dress on the left by Alfred Angelo is my favorite. They are all beautiful but this one stands out because of its simplicity. It also comes with optional beaded spaghetti straps. Isn’t it gorgeous? So on your next wedding needs check out Bestbridalprices.com.

The Curse Turned Into Possible Cure

I was only 12 years old when I first had my menstruation. I was so sad because I thought my childhood is over. I know how much of a hassle it was. I didn’t even tell my mother right away because for some strange reasons, I was afraid that she will get mad at me for having it. I dreaded having it every month especially when I was in high school. It was so uncomfortable especially during Physical Education. I was so happy when I got pregnant with Frankie. I told Ryan that I finally have a little break from my monthly cycle.

Would you believe that the monthly cycle that we all hate actually can be a potential life saver? I was so surprised myself too. It surely changed the way I look at it from now on. You see, our menstrual blood contains adult stem cells that can be a possible cure for so many life threatening diseases and C’elle gives you the chance and the opportunity to collect and preserve them for future use. With C’elle’s collection kit, you can rest assured that you can collect your menstrual blood discreetly and will be put aside for the future. If I got you interested, please don’t hesitate to visit their about page to learn more about C’elle. You can also visit their order now page for their limited time special promotion. If this is the only way we can protect ourselves, then it is worth a try.

He Practically Lives Outside

That is how Frankie is now. He practically lives in the backyard now especially when it is beautiful/warm outside. The moment he wakes up in the morning, he then grabs his slippers and put it on himself (he is a pro at it) and off he go. I sometimes have to drag him back to the house to give him his breakfast and right after breakfast he then tells me "going outside" or "going out". That is why I am so thankful with the fence that Papa made. Papa has been sweeping lately with the helicopter while Frankie is just there playing with the dirt. Chasing after the birds or just about anything that he can think of. When the garage door is up, he also likes pulling the lawn mower out and pushing it around. I think he likes it more than any of his toys. When it rains Papa and Frankie are so miserable inside standing by the window looking outside.

Trying to ask him to go in is another challenge. He ran around to keep away from me who has been calling him in for dinner. He doesn't even mind being hungry or having a wet diaper as long as he is outside. One thing I love when he is outside is he always have a nice sleep because he is tired and exhausted. Right after dinner I give him a bath and that just puts him right to bed.

Finding A Web Host The Easy Way

Last month my husband came up to me and asked me if I can show him how to make a blog. I was so surprise because he never showed any interest in blogging before until recently. I was apprehensive to help him because I thought he was kidding but he won’t leave me alone. I finally gave in and went to a free site where he was able to easily set up his own blog.

After making a couple of posts he came up to me again and asked me if I can help him about finding a webhosting for his blog. I didn’t know what to tell him because although I have been blogging for so many years but I don’t have any idea which one to do for. I got mine through the very site where I started blogging. I lot of my blogger friends told me that there are a lot of web hosts out there that are a lot cheaper than what I am paying now. I didn't believe them because I thought I was already getting a good deal but how wrong I was when I came across Webhostinggeeks.com.

Webhostinggeeks.com had the top 10 web hosts of 2009 complete with features, bonus features and most of all their hosting review. I also like how they tell you upfront about the space, the traffic and the price. It is also an added plus when you read other customers who have used their service. You will be surprised with the different kinds of web hosts that you can find for your website or blog. Now I know what to tell my husband when he asks me again about where to find his blog’s web host. I may also need to tell him too about Web Hosting Geek’s blog for more information regarding web hosting.

School Conversations

Ryan has been encouraging me to go back to school especially now that we have Papa's help. Although I have considered myself too old to go back but when I think of my classmates when I went for my master's degree, some of them are old which are around Papa's age. But you know what, it is the likes of them that I like hanging around because they are the ones who are there to finish what they have started unlike other kids that I see. I find it really inspiring actually.

My only problem right now is I can't decide which degree to go for. I have started my MA before and did some business classes but none of them actually interests me. I could have finish what I have started with my MA but even that I don't want to do it anymore. Although I have a Bachelors Degree and it has been accredited here but I want something more. For many years now there this thing in me that is yearning to be a counselor. I am looking into Bachelor of Social Work. I am not rushing myself anymore since I want our upcoming wedding and trip to the Philippines out of the way before I can go back to school. Ryan is supportive with any thing I wish to go for. At least I have another year to get ready. We'll see. So help me God.

Scrubs Online Magazine

When my sister told me that she wants to be a nurse, I have nothing but support for her. She has been doing well academically in high school and I am sure the road in taking her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing will be challenging yet fun for her. I have seen myself in and out of the hospital before in my younger years and being cared for with a nurse. I have always been so impressed with the compassion and the dedication they have showed to their patients including me. If only I am not afraid of blood, I know being a nurse would have been my number one choice.

Even if I am not a nurse, I also like reading and educating myself with the latest research and just about anything regarding health conditions that might affect my family. I have a two year old baby, a husband and my Dad lives with us so as a mom and wife, I want to prepare myself for any illnesses that might come our way. In fact, there is this good living online magazine that I enjoy reading and it is called Scrubs. You really don’t have to be a nurse to take advantage of the informative resources that they offer nurses. What I love so much about Scrubs is it is very inspiring, uplifting and timely with what we are currently experiencing today. Not to mention I love the color of their website too. It is very soothing to my eyes. I am glad that nurses have a place where they can get helpful information, as well as a place where they are recognized for their hard work everyday and of course ways for them to always look at their best.

If there is one nurse that I really admired, it would be Saundra Falk, RN. She was very creative that something that would have been a painful experience to a child was replaced with ease because of her brilliant idea. Saundra and the Sew Angelic let children who are undergoing a surgery choose their own keepsake cap to distract them from their up coming surgery and for that she deserved the scrubby award. I have always admired nurses since day one even if it is fictional or not. Carol Hathaway of ER is my number one fictional nurse because she is so sensitive about the lack of recognition that nurses gets in ER.

Trust me there are a lot of fun things to read especially real life stories in Scrubs. I may have to let my sister know about this online magazine too. I am sure she will be able to relate.

Little Gadi

Today is the baptism of little Gadi. My entire family are there except mama who is not feeling so well. Gadi is now a little over two months and they wanted him baptized before the next school year starts since Cheryl and my Manoy will be going back to school this June. I am so anxious to see the pictures as I have instructed my sisters very well to take a lot of pictures. I have checked their friendsters and they are not up yet. I know Ging-ging is a little busy with school and Resty for sure is a little tired from the laag. I will be anxiously waiting here until I get it from them. I haven't heard anything from my brother so he must be exausted putting together everything. I will be sharing it all here as soon as I get the pictures.

The Fun Is Over

I have disabled my tag board since it has become a circus down there. I appreciate the support of a lot of people which by the way I don't know most of them. They have been so supportive against this guy who obviously has nothing to do but harass people and their blogs. He probably lost his job and he's wife probably left him for someone else that is why he is sharing his bitterness in the world wide web. The thing that makes me laugh is how this person can go below the belt giving me insults trying to make me feel bad. Calling my family back home poor. It is nothing new to me because we are really poor. Calling Ryan obese... when he could also be obese sitting all day long in front of the computer prying on other people's business. Ha! I sure am not the cutest chick in the block but I am married and happy. That is what matters. What is even interesting is how he tries to hide his identity. He's balls must be smaller than the size of a peanut because he doesn't have the courage to identify himself. Now who is being Pathetic?

Yes, I do work so hard because I don't want to sit around and wait for my husband to hand me the the money to send to my poor family back home when I have the opportunity to work. It is just me. I have the help now because my father is here so I also want to help. That is also the reason why we only have one child because we don't want any help from the government. No offense to those who are getting some help. If you think you deserved it then good. That is why we have remained poor because it is hard to get ahead. I just don't like people pretending to be better than anyone else and insulting others because he thinks he is way better when the truth is nobody really cares. I don't really care what people think of me. I have learned that years and years ago. I don't live with you so I don't care what you think. I can rant, vent or do whatever I want in my blog because this is my blog. You could have moved on if you think it wasn't worth your time. Nobody put a gun on your head to read my blog. The 20 minutes of your time is now history and it will be more if you kept coming back. I wish you luck. I hope you find the peace and realize what a loser and coward you are. I usually don't dwell on this too much but a case like this is hard to ignore. After you shut down your computer, it is reality babe and I am sure you don't want to face the shit hole you are in.

Enough of this non-sense. I have said what I wanted to say. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

A Collection Agency That Does All The Work

When my Aunt left her business in Cebu to live permanently in Perth, Australia, she assigned me to go after those who owe her money from her business. I was in college then and didn’t know anything about businesses. All I know was, I go there and ask for the money and that’s about it. Of all the 16 people and businesses that I went and asked for her money back, none of them even gave me anything. It was always excuses after excuses and since she was not present in Cebu anymore, they also made it an excuse sometimes that they will only pay when she gets back in Cebu. Sad to say I wasn’t able to ask any of the $78,000.00 back from any of them.

That was probably one of the major mistakes that my Aunt did. She already knew that she was leaving soon but she didn’t entrust the collection of the debt to a Collection Agency. One of the many problems that I encountered was nobody was living in the address she gave me. Some of them moved and changed their telephone number. If it could have happened here in the US, it will be so easy to trace them. Americanprofit.net helps business owners collect the money that was rightfully theirs for a little fee. So business owners can now worry about their business and not going after the people that owed them. Plus with great customer service that they offer, you know that you have picked the right people to go after your money.

Overwhelmed, That Is What I Felt

Early this month, Ging-ging and the rest of her classmates were in Maasin, Leyte to complete a lot of their requirements. I made sure that she has the load just in case she needs to call Cebu and also to keep me updated with her whereabouts there. There were there for a little over a week because they need to complete a lot of cases.

Every time I come home from work, I always ask her how she was. She then replies to me how her day was. She also told me that she has been a pro in delivering a baby. I think she had 4 or more while she was in Leyte. A few days before they were scheduled to go home, she told me that she has to assist one major operation and one minor operation before they can be fully cleared. She was nervous since she kept on getting posponed. She asked me to help her pray and I did. I asked her if she could tell me how it went when she is done and when I got up the next day, she was so happy to tell me that her major operation which was a C-Section was a success. I am so happy for my little sister. One more year to go is what I kept telling myself.

Power Steering Needs At Your Fingertips

Can a car run without a power steering? It definitely can but imagine how hard driving would be without it. Yes you can maneuver your car but not as easy as if you have power steering in your vehicle. It used to be very hard to find steering box or steering rack before if you are not a dealer but it is a thing in the past because you can now get one over the internet. Their website at Powersteeringpros.com is very easy to navigate. Their steering boxes, steering racks and more are very affordable; has its full warranty and most of all free shipping. All you have to do is select the year of your car, the maker and hit “go” and you will be on your way in getting your next power steering box or rack. Tell your friends about them too.

Payday Loans

I know how disappointing it can be, to be in need of money for something important or to use for emergencies but not knowing where to get it. Ryan and I have always refrained from borrowing from relatives. If we can find a way where we don’t have to bother them, then we will go for it. One thing I find very helpful without the added pressure and hassle is taking advantage of Payday Loans.

Plus you don’t even have to leave home to take advantage of one because you can apply online. With just a few requirements, it has never been so easy to get the money that you need for whatever reasons you may have. Their No Fax Loans too give you the added peace of mind because you don’t have to worry about faxing your information in public places especially when you don’t have a fax machine at home. So the next time you need money, you don’t have to think twice but check our Paydayloansmania.com.

Second Haircut

I told Ryan the other day that Frankie's hair in the back are getting long. He suggested that I should take him to the salon and have it cut. I surely wish I know how to cut hair because it will save us a lot but since I can't, I have no choice but to to take him in. I don't trust myself and I don't want to practice on him (who else will I practice it too?). Ryan also wants to make sure that it is done well so I took him in a salon nearby. The lady who shaved Frankie's hair before was the same lady that cut his hair two days ago.

When I helped him up on his hair, he didn't cry unlike the very first time. He now realizes that she is not there to harm him. He did move a little bit I but I held his face and he was still. It didn't take that long. These are the pictures before she completely cut his hair.

Before

After

It really doesn't look so much difference in the front. She didn't even do anything there since he only have limited hair up there but he cut the back and the side. He looks like a grown up boy with his hair.

$100 Is What It Takes

Ryan has been buying lottery tickets lately. I think it started when we were out at a gasoline station one time and I asked him to get one. He was apprehensive at first but got one anyway for a dollar. That night, he was so happy because the ticket that he got won $3.00. So every once in a while he buys one for a dollar. It is so funny because he used to tell me that he doesn’t believe in taking chances.

Talking about taking chances, I may let him know about buying a home lottery ticket for a $100.00 for a chance to win a beautiful fully furnished 6 bedroom, 6.5 bath waterfront estate in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. He has been bugging me about moving out of here and selling our house. What’s even better is, one of these St. Thomas Villas is guarded and in a gated golf community. Looking at the pictures in their website really makes me excited. I can just imagine myself sipping my favorite cup of coffee while enjoying the breeze and overlooking Atlantic Ocean and all it has to take is a $100.00. The more tickets/entries you buy the more chances of winning. So what are you waiting for? Do not forget to check them out today because who knows, you could be the next owner of this beautiful property.

Mama's Day

Today was indeed a lovely day. I slept late last night because I didn't get home late and they all let me sleep in. Yep, I didn't get up until 11:00 a.m. I don't even think I will ever get up not until Ryan bugged me to go bowling for Mother's Day. I wasn't really up to bowling because I was a little tired. I just want to lay on bed and be served hehehe. After so much bugging to get up to go somewhere I finally accepted Ryan's invitation to watch a movie (Star Trek). I was apprehensive to go because I thought it would be another lame movie but I was wrong. There were some dragging parts but I really liked and enjoyed it. We strolled around the mall for a little bit and decided to go shopping afterwards. We also ate at my favorite Filipino restaurant. As always the food was yummy and had some take out for Frankie and Papa.

I told Ryan that we don't need to do something special for Mother's day since we have been saving for the big event but he still made me feel special. It was very simple yet very nice. I can't wait for father's day so that I can also do something special for him. On the other hand our Mama back home also celebrated her special day with the rest of the family. We all chipped in to buy her lechon manok, ice cream, squid and more and had lunch together. Then they all went together to visit our Nanay in the cemetery. I just talked to her a few minutes ago and I am glad she is doing well. Happy Mother's Day to My Mama, Nanay, Noelle, my sister in laws and my friends.

Toys For The Entire Family

I consider toys to be one of the most essential parts of a child’s development. Kids at an early age need to explore. It could be as simple as shaking a rattle or a colorful book, it will make a lot of difference to a child. That is why it is very important for parents to pick the right kinds of toys for their children.

It is amazing how much toys Frankie accumulated for the past two years of his life but one thing is for sure, what Ryan and I got him are all educational toys. Last year, on Frankie’s first birthday, I caught myself browsing at the different MEGA Brands toys that they have online. What I like about MEGA Brands is they carry toys that are not only for little ones but also for big kids. Their toy selection is simply exceptional. I am glad that Ryan’s Aunt Pat and Uncle Phil were so smart and got Frankie one of the MEGA Brands toys which is the 3-in-1 Ride-On Dump Truck as seen below. Frankie loves riding and pushing it around, inside the house. I can’t wait when we can take it outside as soon as our fence is up.

Another toy which I am sure Frankie will also love is the CAT Workbench. He is in the stage where he likes to imitate what he sees. He likes imitating what his grandpa is doing especially when he is fixing up the house. He used to have a workbench before but his Dad throws it away because it wasn’t sturdy and was falling apart. This will perfect for Frankie. So the next time you thought of what perfect gift to give your little one, don’t forget to check out Megabrands.com. I am sure they will like it and you too.

Renewing Our Vows

If you are one of my friends in facebook then you already know that Ryan and I are going to renew our vows in the Philippines. There are so much to consider since Ryan wants our wedding to fall on our 7th wedding anniversary which by the way right after Easter. Meaning, everything has to be set even before we get there and before Holy Week. As you know, we celebrate our Holy Week differently than here in the US. Most of the stores will be closed. I have assigned Resty, Ging-ging and Cheryl to be responsible for the bride maid's dresses. They may have to meet up and agree on which style to go for. I haven't decided what motif I will have for the wedding but I am open to any suggestions. Cheryl is my brother's wife and she is really good at putting together weddings. My brother Gayfred and Resty will check out different places for the reception. Our first choice is the Villa Teresita Resort that is not too far from our house but it has been ages since Ryan and I last went there. It was still under construction then and the pictures in the internet really looked inviting. The rent of the hall is very cheap too for 100 people but I don't like how expensive their catering is. Papa said, there are a lot of promos especially approaching June. If I would invite all my relatives and friends I am sure it will come up to 200 people and more. So we are thinking of having a little something in our house to those people who can't join us at the reception. You know like my little cousins. We are considering 100-150 people for the reception.

I honestly don't know what else are we going to need for the church. Ryan and I have already had a church wedding here. Hopefully all they need is the marriage certificate and our baptismal certificates. I have also assigned mama and my brother to look into that so that we will have all the papers that we need for the big day. Other things like the cake, transportation and the make- up artist shouldn't be that hard. Ryan and I also agreed that we will let our guests know that they don't have to bring any gift. I don't think there will be room in our luggage plus we don't want to leave it behind. Those gifts are for us so might as well tell them not to buy/bring anything for us. Their presence will be more than enough.

I am really worried that the dress will not fit me anymore. The picture above was how skinny I was and the wedding dress was even tight then, how much more now. The dress was made when I was only 99 lbs. I honestly don't think I can get that low. My pre-pregnancy weight maybe but definitely not 99 lbs. I opened the box a few minutes ago where I placed my dress and I was right. I can't even close or zip it up. It has been over 6 years since I wore it. I told Ryan that we might as well rent if I can't fit into it but he wants me to wear the same dress since he was also the one who picked the style for me off a catalog and of course it has a sentimental value to us. I may have it fixed or do something for it to fit me.

Can you tell that I am very excited? You bet I am especially now that we have the date set. Frankie will of course be our ring bearer. I just need to take it easy and take each day at a time. I hope and pray that everything will be just fine. I already have so much plan for this trip where I will disclose next time.

The Best Vacations Are Free

I have always been responsible for planning for fun activities to do during the summer most especially now that we have Frankie. Before, it used to be very easy to plan for a summer get-away with just Ryan but now, I have to make sure that there is also something that will be fun for Papa and of course Frankie. I also need to be careful too because we are always on a budget when we go somewhere. We don’t want to have so much fun but broke when we get back home. Don’t you just wish you can go somewhere fun for free?

Well, if free vacation is what you want then you better check out and enter the freedom to enjoy sweepstake for a chance to visit Kissimmee, Florida for free. They are giving away (3) weekend getaways (3 days/2 nights) for two (2); and two (2) weeklong vacations for four (4). Hurry because you still have one last chance to win for the 6/1/09 drawing. I will join and you should too.

It is so amazing to know that different fun things you can do while in Kissimmee. I would like to walk down the Heritage Trail with my Dad. He likes history as well and it would really be awesome to check it out together. Being one with nature is another thing that I am sure Ryan would like to do while in Kissimmee. We can hop on for an airboat tour or go hiking. I am sure it would be a lot of fun. I couldn’t agree more when they say, “the best vacations are free”.
