Reunited

Papa, Frankie and I left Chicago at approximately 12:30 p.m. I was praying that it is not going to be that rough with Frankie in the plane. I am not looking forward to the 13 hours flight, but we managed. God is really good. We were sitting behind a family that also has a two year old and they kept each other company. They sometimes stood up and talk and there were also a time when they exchanged cookies and sandwiches. Although time seems to take forever, they kept each other company. Unfortunately, of the 13 hours on our flight to Korea, Frankie only took a three hour nap and did not take his 8 hours sleep. When we got to Korea, I let him play in the play area for two hours, so when we got to the plane to Cebu, he was already sleeping.

As we were approaching Cebu and the plane the land, I couldn't help but feel emotional. It has been five years since I seen my family and now I will be seeing them in a little bit. I grabbed Papa's arm and cried. He smiled and said we are getting there and gently rubbed his hand on my forehead. After getting the luggage, I walked out to the waiting area and there was my family except mama who was at home waiting for us. I gave each of them the tightest hug and got Frankie off me and kissed him. My one brother said, he used to see him in the webcam and now he couldn't believe he is here. I am very happy. It was a wonderful feeling that is so hard to explain. I felt complete. Most of all, I am very thankful that the other side of my family finally got to see Frankie.
