When I inquired about papa’s possible health insurance cost a year ago, it was almost $300.00 a month. It was quiet a lot for us but we did not care because we just want him to have his own health insurance. It gives me the peace of mind that he is protected. After paying for two month’s worth, we got an email telling us that they have denied him of coverage because he has a pre-existing condition. I was really disappointed but what can I do?

Maybe when he is two years here, we can finally shop around and compare. That company was the only company that gave 6 months of residency while the rest is two years. I wonder how much is the cost of term insurance now a days. It’s been a year since I looked around. I hope to finally get Papa his insurance this coming December.
