Pool

For so long, I promised Frankie that I will take him to the pool after I finish with my summer classes. I usually get off work or school really late and during the weekends Ryan and I always go to the library to study for eight hours. Frankie was very patient. He carry around his swimming trunk all the time in case I decide to take him. Last Wednesday, I was off and decided to finally take Frankie to the pool. It was supposed to rain, but I didn’t know what time. Luckily, Ryan emailed me and said that he will pick me up at a certain time so we could go shopping. I took Frankie to the pool early, and when we got home it is when it started raining.

Anyways, while we were in the pool it makes me realize how women are so vain at times and so concern about how we look with a swimsuit. There are women there that did not even care about how they look with the swimsuit. There was even a 70 plus year old grandma in her swimsuit, and she obviously did not care about what people say about her. There were lifeguards with cellulite and some overweight too. It doesn’t seem to bother them. Sometimes it makes me think that I stress so much about losing weight when I am not that bad yet, but I know I should eat healthy. I guess don’t need a cellulite gel yet, but it is nice to know that there is one in case the need for it arises.
