Whatever Comes To My Mind

My parents are really getting old. Papa has been having issues with his cholesterol and so as mama back in the Philippines. Luckily, Papa’s cholesterol has been monitored, and he has his doctor that consistently checks him every once in a while. He tries to be very careful with what he eats too because he can feel it in his body if he eats too much. Mama, on the other hand, seldom goes to the doctor because it is very expensive over there. She was told she needed a rigorous cholesterol treatment but she couldn’t afford. I wish she was here because the doctor that treats Papa is very nice, and he doesn’t charge us as much with Papa because he understands that he doesn’t have his own health insurance. Hopefully, all the process with mama will go smoothly, so I could take care of her here.
