Hair Loss

Hair loss does not run in my family. In my mother’s side, I don’t know anyone who doesn’t have a full sets of hair. My father, on the other side, has full sets of hair except one of my cousins. He used to have a full set of hair then he started wearing a cap. I never figured it out until he took it off one time, and I saw that he was losing his hair. It was very alarming because none of us ever had to deal with losing hair. I even thought at one point that he was sick that was why he was losing it.

When everyone knew about it, he started withdrawing himself from all of us. He was so embarrassed. I have to say that he looked really different without any much of his hair left. My other cousin even suggested having it shaved but he was holding on to his little hair left.

Some of the older folks suggested that he should rub coconut all over his head for the hair follicles to start growing. They think it was the best hair loss cure, but even that did not work. Back home, he really did not have much choice, but if it could have happened here in the US, it will never be an issue because it now so easy to go online and find hair loss cure products and its reviews.
