Postponing retirement for fashion

Most people look forward to retirement, to say the least. However, I’ve never been one to stay still and relax. For me, enjoyment is staying busy and occupied. That’s why I decided to open a clothing boutique five years before I was scheduled to retire.

Opening a business takes a lot of work and normally one doesn’t even make a profit during the first year. But it was always a dream of mine and I thought this would be a fun way to ease into the rest of my life and my eventual retirement.

Most days I’m at the boutique, although I leave the actual management to one of my employees. But I am great at interacting with the customers and love to get to know them. However, I started to notice that I was having trouble having conversations with the especially soft-spoken ones. I thought I should do something about it before it affects my business so after looking up some miracle hearing aids reviews and miracle ear hearing aid prices, I settled on some hearing aids that I thought were right for me.

What’s even better is that I found some that other people can’t see, so it helps reinforce the image of my boutique!

Thanks for this post Kim Gander.
