First Week of School for Frankie
The first week of school went great. I used to worry about waking him up early in the morning for school, but he has been really good so far. I did not have any issue waking him up at all. He just go straight to the bathroom for his shower. I don’t know how it is going to be for the winter. He is so used to of taking his shower in the morning because when he takes a shower at night, it keeps him up. He can’t seem to sleep right away.
Ryan and I both took our days off just to take Frankie to school. Papa drove in a separate car because that was the first time that we have taken him to the school. I kept telling him that I will show him where it was, but it always slips my mind. At least, when he came with us with a separate car, he was able to practice back and forth from the house to school. When I told Frankie that we are going to school, he did not seem to really care. We sat in to one class last March, but I am sure it has been a while for him. I told him that he was going to school, but all he kept telling me was, he was going to ChuckECheese. He brighten up a little bit when we get to the classroom and he saw all of his classmates waiting for him. He stated playing right away forgetting that we were even there. The teacher had to remind him to give mama, dada, and grandpa a kiss goodbye before he could play.
I am very happy that Frankie is finally going to pre-school. I know it is another expense, but it is an expense that is so worth it. I am just glad that I don’t have to worry as much with my sister in regards to her schooling. She is reviewing right now and all I need is to send her a little allowance every month. Anyways, when Ryan and I picked him, he told us what he did. He said he painted, sung a song, and played with his classmates. Although this is only their first week, they have already started doing some academic stuff. I can’t wait for the coming weeks to come and see what Frankie has for me. This is his remembrance of his first day of school. For his second day of school, he made a truck. I have yet to take a picture of it.
