Mama’s 60th Birthday
My mama will turn 60 years old in August. I have been planning for her birthday since this is her first birthday here in the US. I also would like to gather my friends, so they could finally meet them. I do not want her to feel alone and homesick. I have so many Filipino friends that she could talk when she is bored especially when I am out working.
I am starting to save my money for decorations in the living room. If only Dada will finish painting the living room, it would a lot easier. He promised that he will finish it before her birthday. He still has two more months to go. He is in summer class right now, so I do not want to bother him for that. I will definitely get my mom more than one 60th birthday gifts. I really want this party to be special for her. I was able to convince Ryan to cancel my graduation party because I didn’t really want it to begin with, so now we have something to look forward to. I wonder what team and color should I use for the decorations?
