Whatever Comes To My Mind

Ryan and I were out last Sunday, and while on the road on our way home, we were talking about how he wished that Dad and him went through with their first itinerary to go to in Pearl Harbor in Hawaii before going to the Philippines to see me. They were supposed to go to Corrigedor also to visit the place where the “Death March” took place. Unfortunately, after 9-11, Dad really got scared and was having second thoughts about even going to the Philippines. Ryan still wanted to go and Dad changed his mind and went with Ryan minus the places that they were supposed to visit. He was afraid that those places were going to be targeted next. Ryan said that it was nice that they went to California, but he thinks it would be really awesome to go to Pearl Harbor.

Visiting Hawaii is one of my dreams especially visiting the Pearl Harbor. I used to talk about it in school and in my classes and seeing it in person would be awesome. Ryan and I agreed that we are going to try to go there for our 10th wedding anniversary which is only two years away from now. We still have to decide whether to take the kids and mama or leave them here. We still have two years to decide anyway. It would be really awesome to take them with us, but of course, it would depend on the budget. We really do not mind taking them with us because they are our babies. Besides, it will be a nice get away. I better start saving for whatever we will use the money with. It would be really something to look forward to. If the budget is not enough, we can always find a place here to celebrate, but as for now, that is the plan.
