Valentine’s Day
I was very busy running some errands after I picked up Frankie that I forgot to buy Ryan a Valentine’s card. Well, our agreement is not to buy each other anything. We started doing this about a couple of years ago. Ryan doesn’t want me get him anything for Christmas, but even if I toll him that I do not need anything, he still gets me something. So last Valentine’s day, I kind of let it slide. I know that he is not going to get mad because that was our agreement and I won’t either if he won’t get me anything. Besides, I am content of all the things that he has been doing for me and for our little family.
He had school that night, and he didn’t get home late. I was very surprise to get a little something and was even more surprise that he gave mama a thank you card. It wasn’t a Valentine’s card, but a thoughtful card with a sweet message in it. Here is mama’s card with his message.
In the card: “With sincere gratitude and appreciation.”
Ryan’s message for mama.

“Thank you for being a great mama and the help that you provide to me and In-in. Thank you for doing the clothes, the dishes, and many others. Thank you for helping with Branden too. Words can’t express our gratitude. Love, your son Ryan.
Isn’t he a sweetheart? He is and always has been. Here is his message for me.

Loved and cherished that past nine years of marriage and the twelve years I have known you. No matter what happens, I will be with you forever and ever. Sometimes the kids may be difficult, but in the end we will raise them together. Here is to many many years with you till death. I love you so much.
