Mama and I always eat our meals together. Most of the time, we talk about the Philippines and just about anything under the sun. I kind of miss it because everything changed after Branden came. It is so hard to eat with a baby now. It is either I watch mama eat and we take turns with Branden. We take him to the kitchen most of the time, but there are times that he really wants to be held. When Frankie is home and do not have any school, we usually ask him to watch Branden. He eagerly comply. In the picture below, Frankie just brought a book from a book fair in his school. He got a card from his great-grandparents with a little money in it, and he used it to buy the book. He was so excited that he was able to get it using his money. He showed it to his brother and he was flipping the pages for him to see the pictures.
I find it funny because even if Frankie is not able to read yet, he make up stories depending on the pictures in the book. The book is actually about cars and it was Mater’s birthday surprise. I am so glad that Frankie can take care of himself and his little brother too. It is so nice that we can take our time while eating our meals.
